Welcome to the Tameside College Equality and Diversity Blog

First of all welcome to the Tameside College Equality and Diversity blog! We are excited to announce that from the 28^th April to the 2^nd May, Tameside college will be holding an Equality and Diversity Week.  Britain today is a diverse country and everything from music, fashion and food has been influenced by different communities and cultures. Equality and Diversity Week aims to celebrate this and help raise awareness of what it stands for which most of all is equality for everyone regardless of gender or ethnicity etc. There will be a variety of events taking place throughout the week which will seek to celebrate diversity, challenge stereotypes and promote equality such as disability football, guest speakers and advice sessions by organisations such as Tameside LGBT . Students and staff are all welcome to join in with the activities that will be going on so look out for our regular updates on when and where they will be happening, right here.
